A fresh restaurant integrated into Nicobar’s flagship store in DLF’s The Chanakya, NicoCaara is a small plates menu focusing on seasonal, local produce. Using Nicobar’s tropical-inspired brand as a springboard, NicoCaara’s menu has begun exploration into produce of the lands that meet the Indian Ocean- everywhere from South India, Burma, Sri Lanka to Vietnam.
The small plate menu is designed to mix and match and to share and enjoy together. True to our philosophy, the menu will change, evolving with the seasons. From sourcing Banana blossom from the south, or the flavors of an Earl Grey and bergamot cocktail, the cafe uses Indian and Asian ingredients as much as possible. You won’t find blueberries from Chile but you will find cape gooseberries grown at our farm in New Delhi. Bread and pastries are made fresh and by hand in our central kitchen and we only use organic eggs. Working with Indian and Asian produce means that we naturally shy away from ingredients like refined flour and sugar and work more with local grains as well as sweeteners like coconut sugar and jaggery.
