The Cookery School at CAARA
The cookery school at CAARA offers a unique experience based out of our Base Kitchen in Saket, New Delhi. Equipped with state of the art facilities, a course will enable you with a range of techniques and confidence in the kitchen.
Short Courses are perfect for the food enthusiast wanting to learn, with attention on health and living well, the focus lies on enhancing life through diet and nutrition.
The Cookery School at CAARA is home to a wide range of classes including:
- Domestic Staff Classes
- Cooking with Confidence
- Le Petit Chef (8 years and above)
On request, the Kitchen can be rented privately for small groups with specially curated menus for the classes.

MENU FOR THE MASTERCLASS
A kokum and coconut milk base drink originating form west India, is drunk after the meal as it work well as a digestive. Having refreshing and cooking properties, the kokum is a great antioxidant that works like an anti carcinogenic and anti-aging agent.
Thupka (Can be made with chicken or vegetarian)
Originating from north India and very common in the Ladakh region, this is a staple for everyone diet in that region. It is light yet filling soup, loaded with vegetables, meats and condiments. A soul satisfying dish and perfect for a cold winter brunch.
Amritsari bun chaat
An indian version of a crispy potato burger, this originates from north India. Accompanied with a date and tamarind chutney, every bite has a burSt of flavours.
Originating from East India, this smokey kebab with caramelised onion, is simply finger licking. It is that that this dish dates back to the turkish and Persian soldiers who enjoyed grilling their meat on fire, on their swords, dating back to the year 1377! Today the kebab is known as one of the subcontinents most exotic dishes and is a perfect starter to a long lazy Indian regional brunch.
Made with whole wheat flour, jaggery and coated with poppy seeds, this is a perfect sweet bite to end your meal! A favourite from west India, Rajasthan, it is often made to celebrate lord ganesha.

If you book more than three classes, you are eligible to the CAARA Club 10% discount and if you book more than 6 classes, you are eligible to 15% discount at any of our restaurant outlets.Please note: We have a strict non refundable policy. If you cancel 48 hours before, we can transfer you to another class, but if you cancel any later than that, your class is not tranferrable.
